Taekwondo Belt Requirements
The requirements which you must do before you can be promoted to a higher belt at Champion Taekwondo Center Inc. are shown here and are posted and available at the school. Keep in mind that these are minimum requirements. Promotion greatly depends on your technique. The instructors will let you know when they feel you are ready for testing. Periodically, the instructor checks to see if you know the requirements for the next belt. If you know the requirements, students may receive tapes on their belt. One tape is for Poomse (forms), and one tape is for Kicks (sparring combinations). Be sure you know all your old and new Poomse and kicks before you test. It is the student's responsibility to know the required material. When testing for your belt, be sure to fill out a testing application prior to the test, wear your full uniform, and bring your sparring gear to the test.
